HIS APPOINTED TIMES

Yahuah established His appointed times as sacred occasions for His people to gather, worship, remember His mighty works, and walk in obedience to His Word.

In Leviticus 23:2, Yahuah declares: “The feasts of Yahuah, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts.”

Through Scripture, we will explore the seventh-day Sabbath, Yahuah's appointed feasts, and His biblical calendar. Together, we will discover their meaning, purpose, and significance for those seeking to walk in His ways.

Established at Creation

Yahuah established the seventh-day Sabbath at Creation. After completing His work, He rested on the seventh day, blessed it, and sanctified it. The Sabbath was set apart long before the commandments were given at Mount Sinai.

Remember the Sabbath

In the fourth commandment, Yahuah instructed His people to remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. Six days are given for work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yahuah our Elohim.

Exodus 20:8–11

An Appointed Time

Leviticus 23:3 identifies the seventh-day Sabbath as a holy convocation. It is a weekly appointed time for rest, worship, and drawing closer to Yahuah.

The Sabbath reminds us that Yahuah is our Creator and that His instructions remain worthy of our obedience.
